Help W9 evidence — October 17, 2026 (Stars, impersonation, Premium renewal)
This public ledger backs three Help pages written for user questions the helper bot could not answer on
October 17: Telegram Stars missing,
Luckgram Premium renewal and expiration and
Someone pretending to be you. Luckgram source links are pinned to the revisions
reviewed on October 10 (iOS f42e2ad, which is still origin/master on October 17; Android 235be7c). A string
in public source shows what a client can display; it does not prove that a given installed release shows it.
Official pages were fetched on October 17, 2026.
Telegram Stars missing
| Page |
Statement |
Evidence |
| help/telegram-stars.md |
Stars are Telegram’s own currency, kept in your Stars balance on Telegram |
Stars terms § 1 (“Telegram Stars are virtual items …”) · Stars terms § 4 (“Stars you purchased are kept in a personal balance on your account”) |
| |
Settings → Your Stars, signed in as the Telegram user the Stars are for |
iOS strings:12419 (Settings.Stars “Your Stars”) · PeerInfoSettingsItems.swift:351 (Settings row) · Android strings:8339 (MenuTelegramStars “Your Stars”) · ProfileActivity.java:10771-10772 · ProfileActivity.java:14066 (both rows depend on Telegram’s settings, so the step names the screen, not a guarantee it is shown) · accounts.md (“The account switcher keeps each account’s chats and settings separate”) |
| |
Stars from the App Store or Google Play: ask the store that charged you for the Stars (Apple and Google Play help links) |
Stars terms § 2.2 (“your billing relationship will be directly with the applicable third party”) · Apple: View your purchase history (“find your purchase history, including a list of apps, subscriptions …”; reportaproblem.apple.com or App Store → Apps & Purchase History → Purchase History) · Google Play: Review your order history (“You can always see your order history on Google Play or payments.google.com”) · Stars terms § 2 (“any issues or concerns regarding Star purchases should be addressed to the respective payment processor”) |
| |
Stars from a website or a bot: ask the site or bot where you got the Stars |
Stars terms § 2 (same sentence) · NiceStars (the site lists its own Support section) |
| |
On iPhone and iPad, Luckgram’s Stars screen offers Get Stars (Multichain & non-KYC) (the NiceStars website), Get on Fragment (Fragment) and Get on Telegram (Telegram’s @PremiumBot) |
NiceLocalizable.strings:219-221 · StarsPurchaseScreen.swift:251 and :261 (opens https://nicestars.pro/?utm_source=luckgram) · :273 and :279 (https://fragment.com/stars) · :291 and :297 (t.me/PremiumBot) · Stars terms § 2 (names @PremiumBot as a Telegram channel for buying Stars). Android 235be7c has no such screen (no nicestars in the source), so the sentence is iPhone and iPad only |
| |
Other Stars questions: a link to the Telegram Support part of Telegram’s FAQ |
Telegram FAQ: Telegram Support (“If you have any other questions, please contact Telegram Support (in Telegram go to Settings — Ask a question). Note that we rely on volunteers for support.”) · iOS strings:755 (“Ask a Question”) · Android strings:2344 |
Premium renewal and expiration date
| Page |
Statement |
Evidence |
| help/premium-renewal.md |
If you subscribed in the App Store or Google Play, the store’s subscriptions list shows it |
Luckgram Terms of Use (“Payment for such a subscription … may be processed within the application, by third parties who act on our behalf, or directly by the platform owner (e.g., Apple)”; “You can cancel a subscription service at any time during the subscription period via the subscription settings in your account.”) · plans-and-rewards.md § Subscriptions (“Cancel through the store or purchase channel that processed the subscription”) |
| |
iPhone and iPad: device Settings, your name, Subscriptions, the Luckgram subscription; a red expiration message means it will not renew |
Apple: Cancel a subscription from Apple (“In Settings, tap your name. Tap Subscriptions. Tap the subscription.” · “If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.”) · plans-and-rewards.md § Subscriptions (“Cancellation normally stops renewal”), so “already canceled” is stated as “will not renew” |
| |
Android: subscriptions on Google Play |
Google Play: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription (Android) (“Open your device’s Settings app. Tap Google Your name Manage your Google Account. Tap Payments & subscriptions Manage subscriptions.”; page links play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions) |
| |
A subscription that will not renew keeps working until its current period ends |
Same Google page (“When you cancel a subscription, you’ll still be able to use your subscription for the time you’ve already paid.”) |
Reporting an impersonator
| Page |
Statement |
Evidence |
| help/impersonation.md |
Reports go to Telegram, whose moderators review them |
Telegram FAQ: illegal content (“All Telegram apps have ‘Report’ buttons that let you flag illegal content for our moderators”) |
| |
Luckgram can’t take a profile down |
Follows from the row above: accounts and their moderation are on Telegram’s servers, and Luckgram is an independent client (facts.md, terminology.md) |
| |
Someone pretending to be you: write to @NoToScam |
Telegram FAQ: What if someone is pretending to be me? (“If a scammer is pretending to be you, please contact @NoToScam.”) |
| |
A person, Android: profile → ⋮ → Report |
ProfileActivity.java:12460-12461 (any user who is not a bot and not you) · Android strings:1448 (ReportBot “Report”) |
| |
A person, iPhone and iPad: a chat with someone not in your contacts can show Report Spam in the bar at the top |
iOS strings:1712 (“Report Spam”) · ChatReportPeerTitlePanelNode.swift:50-51 · Action bar (the bar on a private chat is set by Telegram; reporting uses account.reportPeer). The iOS user profile menu has no Report (PeerInfoScreenPerformButtonAction.swift:873-904 offers Block User only), hence “can offer” |
| |
A channel or group: iPhone and iPad, profile → More → Report; Android, ⋮ → Report |
iOS strings:5288 (“More”) · iOS strings:1756 (ReportPeer.Report “Report”) · PeerInfoScreenPerformButtonAction.swift:392 (More menu) and :979-980 (channels and groups, not for their admins) · ChatActivity.java:4491-4492 · Android strings:1447 (ReportChat “Report”) |
| |
A message in a group or channel: press and hold (Android: tap), Report, then the reason that fits |
Telegram FAQ: illegal content (“On Telegram for Android, tap the message and select Report from the menu. On iOS, press and hold the message. … Then choose an appropriate reason.”) · iOS strings:3265 · ChatInterfaceStateContextMenus.swift:3037 (group and channel messages; in private chats only bots, line 3076) · ChatActivity.java:46719-46721 (groups, channels and bots only) |
| |
“See also” link to the existing section on a limited user (no new claim) |
groups-and-channels.md § Why can’t I send messages in a group, only read it? |

Dropped for lack of a source
| Planned statement |
Why dropped |
| Luckgram does not sell or deliver Stars and cannot see or fix a Stars purchase |
Contradicted in part: on iPhone and iPad Luckgram’s own Stars screen sends buyers to NiceStars (utm_source=luckgram), Fragment and @PremiumBot (rows above). Who runs NiceStars and what Luckgram support can do about such a payment are not stated in any source found, so the section only routes the user to whoever took the payment |
| Contact Telegram Support from Luckgram’s Settings → Ask a question |
On iPhone and iPad that item opens Luckgram’s helper bot, not Telegram Support (PeerInfoScreenSettingsActions.swift:349-351), so the step names the official Telegram app |
| The store’s subscriptions list shows the renewal or end date |
Neither Apple’s nor Google’s pages fetched today say that a date is shown; the section says only what they state (red expiration message on a cancelled Apple subscription, renewal receipt emails, access until the paid time ends on Google Play) |
| Whether the Luckgram app shows the Premium end date |
No public client string shows a Luckgram Premium end or renewal date, and the subscription screens are not fully in public source; nothing is claimed either way |
| A Fake Account reason in the report flow |
The string exists (iOS strings:6159, Android strings:1462), but report reasons now come from Telegram’s servers, so the section says “the reason that fits” |
| Telegram support bots for Stars purchases |
Telegram’s pages name @PremiumBot only as a place to buy Stars, not as support; no bot is named as support |
Removed in round 2 (data-agent measurement of 77ae997)
The measurement found the first wording drawing unrelated questions (generic billing and support questions to the
Stars section; sign-in and password questions shifted by the words account, password and receipt). These sourced
statements were removed to keep each section on its own question; their sources are unchanged.
| Removed statement |
Why |
| Stars: “Contact whoever took your payment”, “your billing relationship for it is with the store”, “write to the support of the service you paid” |
Generic billing and support wording; each step now names Stars |
| Stars: Telegram Support volunteers can take a while to reply |
Kept the section short |
| Premium: Renewal Receipt Emails |
The word receipt |
| Premium: the Android device-settings path through Manage your Google Account |
The word account; the Google Play subscriptions link is kept |
| Premium: “It may be on another Apple or Google account”, search email for “receipt from Apple” |
The words account and receipt |
Premium: “If you paid another way, write to [email protected]” |
Generic support wording |
Removed in round 3 (data-agent measurement of db503e8)
The sections moved out of Plans, Gems, and referrals and of Profiles, folders, and interface into their own Help pages;
both feature pages are back to their 43a387e text. These statements were removed so that each page keeps to its own
words; their sources are unchanged.
| Removed statement |
Why |
| Stars: “The Stars purchase is in its purchase history” |
Generic purchase wording; the Apple and Google Play links stay |
| Stars: Telegram Support in the official Telegram app, under Settings → Ask a Question |
Generic support wording; one link to Telegram’s FAQ instead |
| Stars: in Luckgram on iPhone and iPad, Ask a Question opens Luckgram’s helper bot |
Same. Still true at iOS f42e2ad: PeerInfoScreenSettingsActions.swift:349-351 opens NGCore.links.helperBot |
| Stars: “With several Telegram accounts signed in, switch to the one …” |
The word account |
| Premium: “until the end of the time you already paid for” |
The word paid; now “until its current period ends” |
| Impersonation: “If Telegram limited you after spam reports, see …” |
Competed with spam-report questions; a “See also” link remains |
